Impressions from the project process
In the US state of Louisiana, three enormous liquid gas tanks were simultaneously realized using PERI know-how. Each of the structures has an 80 m diameter and a wall height of 44 m.
In concreting cycle heights of 4.65 m, the customized pre-assembled VARIO GT 24 girder wall formwork and CB climbing scaffold system were moved by crane in the form of climbing units.
The PERI formwork solution took into consideration the external inclination in the bottom third of the wall as well as wall thickness offsets in the area of the buttresses.

Striking and moving worked easily and safely. It only took us 13 days for one concreting section with the PERI climbing formwork solutions, and thus we are able to adhere to our schedule.
