Mausoleum Michniów, Poland

Mausoleum Michniów - The museum shape symbolizes a traditional village hut, which gradually crumbles into dust. Numerous offsets and inclined surfaces characterize the complex structure. PERI engineers developed a customized formwork concept in order to carry out the project with a minimum quantity of special formwork.
Mausoleum Michniów - MULTIPROP towers and rentable VARIOKIT system components form the up to 14.75 m high shoring.
Mausoleum Michniów - The tilting walls are formed using TRIO large sized elements – supported by diagonal bracing.
Mausoleum Michniów - The distinctive timber like texture was achieved with an unconventional method. It was plastered with the use of stencil rollers. The good quality of concrete surface resulting from the use of TRIO panels was of major importance.
Mausoleum Michniów - PERI engineers planned the implementation of the special architecture with a customized formwork solution. Numerous offsets and inclined surfaces characterize the complex structure as well as thick sandwich walls and slabs.

Requirements

  • Varying roof inclinations and transfer of high loads in heights of up to 15 m
  • Sandwich walls with thicknesses between 80 cm and 150 cm, steeply inclined in part
  • Concrete roof with a thickness of 80 cm and with an inclination from 40° to 50°
  • Good concrete surface quality (without architectural concrete requirements)
