Location: Dallas, TX, United States
This PPP Project, financed in part by Ferrovial Agroman for TXDOT, employed unique bridge construction techniques. Large, precast concrete cap structures were prefabricated in a nearby facility and hauled to the jobsite where they were set in place on top of concrete columns. During Phase II of the project, some of the 350,000 lb caps needed a temporary support until they were post-tensioned into the previous phase caps.
Bridges and Roads
The PERI equipment was on site from May 2014 through July 2014. PERI also provided formwork for the round columns and capitals, and stair tower access to the bridge deck in several locations.
