Formwork for the two concrete cores which run the full height of the building were climbed using PERI’s ACS (Automatic Climbing System).

The building‘s architectural concrete exterior features walls, columns and spandrel beams which were all formed with VARIO.

The $50 million 16 story building is primarily a steel structure but, for security reasons, contained a thickened concrete blast wall around its North and West perimeter.

Work began in December 2006 on the $240 million expansion to the Potowatomi Casino in downtown Milwaukee. Using SKYDECK, the contractor broke the floorplan of 130,000 ft² (12,000 m²) into ten approximately equal pours.

Construction of the five concrete core and shear walls for the 14 story expansion to the Milwaukee Children’s Hospital was accomplished using TRIO panelized wall formwork and KGF clim-bing units.
