Scaffolding Installed to Gain Access to Entire Power Plant



In mid 2007, Montreal based SNC-Lavalin, Inc. awarded a contract to PERI to supply PERI UP scaffold equipment along with erection and dismantle services for construction access to various parts of this 880 MW Combined Cycle Thermal Power Plant project. A crew consisting of approximately 50 men, worked around the clock setting up over 1,212,542 lbs (552,000 kg) of PERI UP scaffolding to keep up with the demand of over 15 sub trades at this site.

In order to maintain schedule in the most safe and efficient manner, PERI also provided on-site personnel to oversee and control all equipment movement, as well as health and safety services to assure compliance of stringent policies, resulting in a more productive job site for SNC-Lavalin and PERI.
