PERI UNIPORTAL Table System
Helps Achieve Four-Day Cycle
One of the main difficulties seen in the Chocolate Condominium project was the ability to keep a four day pour cycle with a safe and efficient slab formwork system. To achieve this, Elite Formwork Inc. decided to use the PERI UNIPORTAL table system. By using this system, tables ranging in size from 16 ft x 26 ft (4.80 m x 8.00 m) were effectively flown by using the self leveling C-Hook. The advantage of this system was seen when forming the 16 ft (4.90 m) roof which had a 4 ft (1.20 m) overhang. Tables were anchored in the back and safely cantilevered over the edge of the building.
