Masterful Construction of High-Rise Building
with UNIPORTAL and SKYDECK Combination

This 36 story, 398 ft (122 m) tall building in downtown Phoenix is now the tallest residential tower in Arizona. Construction began in 2005 and was completed by late 2007. PERI supplied 7,200 ft² (669 m²) of UNIPORTAL tableforms and 8,200 ft² (762 m²) of SKYDECK for the typical floors.

The 30 tables were positioned around the perimeter of the slab and, with their MULTIPROP shores and safety handrails attached, raised to the subsequent floors in 5 hours using the 1.75 t Lifting Fork. SKYDECK panelized shoring was used for the the interior slab area. The SKYDECK drophead allows early stripping of panels and main beams while keeping reshores firmly in place. Suntec Concrete originally planned on using two floors of tables but cancelled the order for the second set after realizing how quickly they could be flown. The 8“ (20 cm) post tensioned slabs were poured with approximately 335 yd³ (256 m³) of concrete on a five day floor cycle.

“Being our first time with PERI we originally went with two sets of tables, but reduced it to one because they were so fast. We now fly 30 tables in 5 hours on a 5-day floor cycle.“
