PERI Offers Complete Service And Solution
To Large Scale Project
The new Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas is located on approximately 32 acres of what used to be known as the old Austin Mueller airport.
This five story medical facility will contain approximately 620,000 ft² (57,600 m²) of hospital area. Keystone Structural Concrete, Ltd. of Houston, TX was awarded the structural concrete package worth more than $10 Million to be completed in only 5.5 months. In order to achieve this schedule PERI offered the modular UNIPORTAL slab formwork system incorporating a steel pan deck supplied by Keystone. Utilizing the PERI MULTIPROP allowed the client to achieve various floor heights without the need for replacing shores proving to be advantageous in achieving their schedule. PERI supplied this project with approximately 50,000 ft² (4,600 m²) of the UNIPORTAL slab formwork system and approximately 5,000 ft² (460 m²) of the TRIO wall formwork system in order to meet the demands of the client. When completed in October 2007, this project will create a suitable environment to help those children in need of medical care.
