Funnel formwork without ties with the MULTIPROP system and GRV articulated walings

During the construction of this drinking water container of 3,000 m³ capacity, the use of the MULTIPROP system, GT 24 girders and GRV articulated walings, allowed optimum adjustment to the geometry of the building construction. In comparison to steel tube coupling systems the assembly work and material used was significantly less.

The MULTIPROP props were quickly coupled to the MRK frames with wedged connections and the stacking could be made fast and tight with the MPV-2 connectors without any tools.

    The installation of formwork ties, as well as the reliable permanent sealing of the tie points in container walls, that have to be watertight, causes high costs. That is why the GRV articulated waling system can be recommended, which functions with a closed formwork ring completely without ties.
