Early striking with SKYDECK
Ideal for the alloted construction time and costs
Around 28,000 m² of slabs were to be constructed in five months in the new building of Block Y residential facility, a few minutes by car from downtown Chicago.
McHugh also used SKYDECK here, as they did for the Park Tower project, where ACS was used for the cores and SKYDECK for the slabs. The important data for an economical execution of the measures were fixed in agreement with the responsible PERI office in Chicago: working cycles, quantities to be used and exact delivery dates were agreed to the special requirements of the project.

The site was able to recover a four-week delay in the construction time. This was made possible by consequently maintaining the proposed cycles, as well as the fast use of the formwork - due to SKYDECK being able to be struck early. |
