Exact planning of flexible formwork applications for economically executing a large construction site
The “Andel City” commercial and business complex is a part of the city renovation of the fifth District in Prague. This modern project will further improve the standard of living in the Czech capital city.
After completion there will be over 63,000 m² of floor area available that is distributed over seven floors above ground and three basement floors.
A Multiplex cinema will take over 2,200 visitors. There are also offices planned here as well as the opening of a shopping centre and a hotel. The basement garage can accommodate over 500 vehicles.
The detailed planning of the work provides the condition for efficiently carrying out such a large project.
PERI Engineers therefore already worked in advance on this, together with the contractor.
Building sections were determined according to the parts of the building. The formwork material for this, the quantities required, the times and the periods were fixed. Quantities to be used and the periods on site were optimised in continuous dialogue with the site through exactly maintaining delivery and collection dates. This was able to importantly add to the successful completion of the construction work.
