PERI''s ACS and SKYDECK Systems Achieve 3 Day Pour Cycle
The Lancaster is another highrise being built in the Lake Shore development area in Chicago, IL. This 324 ft (99 m), 30-story condominium tower is only one of the 14 high rise buildings that are to be constructed in the area.
The exterior ACS-R platforms supplied by PERI were capable of lifting more than 30 tons, enabling McHugh Construction to use intricate steel forms with ease. By using the lightweight DOMINO Wall Formwork system on the inside of the perimeter walls, PERI provided McHugh with a fast, flexible and safe forming solution. The wall formwork system was designed to allow James McHugh Construction to sequence either the wall or slab construction independent of one another. This ensured a flexible product that would permit them to adjust the pour sequence accordingly.
