Radio Tower, Kalding, Denmark
Only 36 drilled in anchors for the 46,00 m high tower
The water tower at Kalding is being converted to a radio tower.
PERI UP Rosett was the scaffold erected to carry out the works.
Even with netting and high wind loads only 36 drilled in anchors were required. This was possible using the PERI static calculation and by considering each level as a complete ring around the tower. The PERI UP ledger can be fixed at different angles in the rosett making a complete ring of ledgers possible.
The trapezoidal bays between the fixed bays (50% of the total) were decked using SCANDECK lattice.
