PERI MULTIFLEX Flying Tables
Quick and easy to move with the PERI C-hook

Sorbara Construction of Lynbrook was the first New York contractor to use the PERI TRIO Wall Forming System for the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Manhattan. Recently, they took the lead once more by being the first to use the PERI MULTIFLEX Flying Table System for their project on Long Island, at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

The Life Sciences Center project consists of a 14,000 sqft (1,300 sqm) per floor, two story teachers wing, plus an 11,000 sqft (1,022 sqm) per floor, six story research building. The teachers wing consists of slab and beam construction in which PERI MULTIPROP post-shores with GT 24 girders were utilized in a loose form application.

On the research building, over 70 table forms are quickly and easily cycled from one floor to the next using the PERI C-hook. The C-hook is the key because it requires very little crane time, taking less than ten minutes to completely cycle each table.

For the lower level columns, the PERI RAPID Column Forming System was used. This system has no loose connecting hardware which might otherwise be lost during erection and stripping. The formwork is connected at diagonally opposite corners with minimal effort.
