Reconfiguring from one pour to the next -
proving the versatility of PERI TRIO
The Bracebridge Center III project in downtown Wilmington, DE is a part of a multimillion Dollar expansion of the national headquarters for MBNA. PERI is supplying the formwork for the five level, cast in place concrete, underground parking garage.
The initial stages of the project required forming of over 4,500 lineal feet (1,372 m) of 4' (1.22 m) deep grade beam/pile cap. The grade beams and pile caps were formed monolithically using TRIO gang form system.
The same formwork will later be used in perimeter wall forming operations, underscoring the versatility of the formwork system.
To construct the variable height parking garage over 1,000 lineal feet (305 m) of difficult foundation walls are needed. Of the 21 wall pours per level, no two are alike.
Therefore the formwork must constantly be reconfigured from one pour to the next. This requirement is not a problem with PERI TRIO.
