VARIO GT 24 - the versatile system for any pour height

The George A. Roberts Engineering Hall on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University is built into a steep hillside with the three exposed sides featuring five stories of architecturally exposed cast-in-place exterior walls. The North and South end of the building include triangular shaped stair towers which are architecturally exposed on both the interior and exterior.
Mosites Construction selected the VARIO/KGF 240 forming system because it could accomodate the numerous architectural conditions on this project. The formwork retraction feature of the KGF 240 platforms allows for the installation of the reinforcing steel and architectural rustication without removing the formwork panels.
