Planned scaffolding
The 40.00 m high church tower at Lapalisse required full consideration before any material was delivered to site. Each level of scaffold had a different profile to follow, around dormers and buttresses, and the main church buildings imposed different constraints preventing the scaffold from reaching ground.
Full planning and a method statement, allowing for all safe working practices, had to be produced before an order was placed. The PERI technicians in Meaux approached the project by detailing the profiles at each required decking level.
From this planning quantity lists were available and the foreman scaffolder could be satisfied that all components needed were delivered in the correct sequence and that the erection progressed unhindered.
