Argyle Parking Structure, St. Louis, MO, USA
Slabs and Beams poured monolithicallyThe city of St. Louis has built a new public parking garage, located on Kings Highway. The first level of parking is utilized for retail and public library access. The remaining three floors provide additional public parking area. It took 3 1/2 months to built the 175,000 ft² parking structure with shoring heights ranging from 8'' to 22'' (2.44 m to 6.71 m). The total amount of material on the site was approx. 35,000 ft² (3,252 m²). With the combination of SKYDECK and the newly designed PERI Beam Waler, the team anticipated better productivity (ft² / man power) than on projects, where beams and slabs were poured separately.
