BWI MARC Parking Garage Expansion, Baltimore, MD, USA
For every application an efficient Formwork System from PERI
BWI Airport South of Baltimore, MD is one of the fastest growing major airports in the U.S.. It is also served by Amtak, which operates a train station 2 miles away from the airport.
At this train station, Facchina Construction recently finished the expansion of a 7-level parking garage after ten months of construction.
Facchina used several PERI systems for this project. The slabs were constructed with approximately 100,000 sqft (9,290 m²) of SKYDECK and PERI''s beam walers were used for the beams. Facchina also used 10,000 sqft (929 m²) of TRIO for the walls, while the columns were constructed with PERI''s RAPID system.
