Large and Complex Project PERI Supplied Full Scope Solution

The Bravern is a massive mixed use project under construction in Bellevue, Washington. The project consists of seven floors of underground parking for 3,100 cars, a two level retail podium, two 29 story residential towers and two office towers of 12 and 23 stories. The projects estimated material requirements include 111,009 yd³ (84,873 m³) of concrete, 13,307 tons (12,072 metric tons) of rebar, 2,911,555 lbs (1,320,660 kg) of post-tension cable and 1.1 million man hours of labor. Skanska-USA is self performing all rebar, post-tension, concrete, and exterior cladding which is rare for a project of this magnitude.

PERI is providing the full scope of formwork for the entire project. SKYDECK panelized shoring was used for the parking and retail levels. The core walls for all four towers are being formed with VARIO and ACS self-climbing platforms. PERI’s new SKYTABLE flying truss shoring system is being used for the first time in the U.S. on the two residential towers.

"With a very complex design on this job site, we were looking for an easy solution. We compared prices and PERI may not have been the cheapest to start with, but after research it made more sense saving us on labor costs by using these fast systems."
