SKYDECK Adapts to all Drops and Beams
Safely Forms 2.8 ft (85 cm) Deep Slab Edges
The Bell North Point structure in Montreal is one of three under construction as part of a multimillion dollar facilty by Canadian telecommunication giant Bell. The 12" (30 cm) slab was formed with SKYDECK, with floor to floor heights typically 15 ft (4.60 m). The versatility of the SKYDECK allowed it to be easily adapted to the 1.8 ft (55 cm) drops surrounding the columns, as well as the 2.8 ft (85 cm) downcast beams around the slab edges. All of the 8 level, 25,000 ft² (2,323 m²) facility is poured in two pours on a 6-day cycle to complete the project on schedule.
