MULTIPROP Shoring Towers Assembled by Two Man Crew
Project Simplified with Labor Saving SKYDECK
Major construction activities started on this $210 million hospital expansion project in August of 2006. The redevelopment is scheduled to be completed in 2009 and will increase the hospital capacity to 417 beds. The 10,000 ft² (930 m²) 7 story West side expansion is formed using SKYDECK in two seperate pours with floor heights ranging from 13 ft - 14 ft (4.00 m - 4.30 m).
Challenging shoring requirements in the auditorium area of the West Building required MULTIPROP towers to be assembled with heights ranging from 43 ft (13.10 m) to 69 ft (20.90 m). The lightweight aluminum MULTIPROPs and ledger frames enabled each individual tower to be assembled by a two-man crew in just a couple of hours.
