KGF 240 and TRIO Solution
Saving Labor on Complicated Project
Construction began on the Federal Reserve Building in St. Louis began in April 2006. The $50 million 16 story building is primarily a steel structure but, for security reasons, contained a thickened concrete blast wall around its North and West perimeter.
KGF crane-climbing scaffolds were used to support the TRIO formwork for this multilift wall. The spacing of the KGF brackets was designed to handle the numerous and irregular window openings, as well as the batter of the wall in the first three lifts. The close bracket spacing allowed multiple anchor and compression point locations for each climbing scaffold to eliminate the need to remove and rework the KGF.

“The KG units were well suited to adapt to the complexity of this job. We are definitely saving labor with this system and the excellent engineering support we received from PERI.“
