Versatile and Modular SKYDECK System for Every Slab
The 8 level 300,000 ft² (27,900 m²) building is located on a 2 acre city block and consists of 5 hotel floors and 2 two condominium levels.
Conventional 12" (30 cm) slabs were shored on the first two levels with a transition to 8" (20 cm) post tensioned decks on level 3 to the roof. Pour sizes for the slabs ranged from 320-380 yd³ (245-290 m³).
The unique balcony configuration created regular 9.5 ft (2.90 m) openings on the slab perimeter that were quickly shored using standard SKYDECK components.
