Modular and Efficient Systems Save Labor for First Time Customer
The 26 level $129 million Streamline Condominium tower began construction in the heart of old town Las Vegas in July 2006. After completing the 36,000 ft² (3,344 m²) five level parking garage, the 31,000 ft² (2,890 m²) tower will take off for another 21 levels. Typical floor to floor heights are 10 ft (3 m) in the tower. The 8" (20 cm) post tensioned slab will be poured on a 5 day cycle. The more challenging parking levels were concreted on an 8 day schedule. All slabs were formed in two pours. While SKYDECK is used predominantly throughout the building, MULTIFLEX was required at numerous places to shore the massive transfer beams. These were needed to structurally isolate the parking levels from the residential tower. In some cases the beams were 11 ft (3.40 m) deep.
