PERI UP
Offers Labor Savings with Rigid and Safe Design
The 150 ft (45.50 m) tall Brantford Water Reservoir needed to be completely sandblasted and painted within a tight 12 week schedule. After various designs and hours of labor analysis it became apparent to Dupont Painting Contracting Inc., that the PERI UP scaffolding system was the ideal solution for this project. The PERI UP Rosett scaffold wrapped the 65.6 ft (20 m) diameter cylinder with 45.9 ft (14 m) of access work decking.
An enclosure system was incorporated around the entire tank to create a controlled environment using stock PERI UP.
The PERI UP building team ensured the 550,000 lbs (250,000 kg) of equipment was erected and dismantled in 3,300 man hours to meet the cus-tomers schedule. This efficient and experienced building team saved the customer 350 man hours over conventional scaffold systems.
