Modular Formwork Systems SKYDECK and TRIO
Perfectly Adapted to Challenging Jobsite
The M-Street Project is an 18 level $48.9 million condominium highrise owned by Wallace Properties. SAK Construction is the concrete subcontractor for this project.
SAK used SKYDECK, the modular aluminum panel slab system for the deck of this building in order to meet a 10 day floor cycle. The 8,000 ft² (743 m²) decks were particu- larly challenging. The floor elevations changed constantly from 9.5 ft to 13.5 ft (2.90 m to 4.10 m) throughout the entire level.
Steel walers supported the TRIO formwork load to the previous concreted core walls. Therefore special openings were left in the slabs.
