Arlanda Airport Control Tower, Stockholm, SwedenThe outer insulation of the tower is made by inserting expanded polystyrene into the formwork. The climbing anchors are initially blocked out. When the last lift is concreted the ACS-R platforms, that were lowered step by step, are used as a working platform for making good faults and constructing the brick facade. Side safety nets in the area of the main and climbing platforms protect the site below. |
