PERI Teamed up with McCarthy and the St. Louis Community to support building a home for a police officer tragically injured in the line of duty.

On April 8, 2010, Mathew Crosby, former Rock Hill Police Officer, was shot while responding to the desperate call from a woman caught in a domestic violence case, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.

PERI has been contacted by McCarthy to get involved in the St. Louis community effort led by The Crosby Crew and Schaub & Srote Architects to build a home for Officer Crosby, who over the years, has been residing in rental homes and endured many surgeries, setbacks, and struggles since he was tragically injured.

McCarthy is donating the labor and concrete for the foundation and PERI is donating the formwork. This is the first time McCarthy uses PERI’s handset formwork system DUO on a residential foundation. We asked McCarthy for some feedback and their experience using DUO and captured it on camera.
