Tie-less circular formwork with articulated waling

For large and small radii – the PERI GRV articulated waler formwork functions without any ties for completely closed circular formwork constructions. The savings achieved are considerable because watertight ties are very expensive and involve an extremely time-consuming process.

The PERI GRV articulated waler system can also be used for special formwork such as arches and arched bridges.

How does GRV function?
The GRV articulated waler will take up to 300 kN of tension or compression force when in a closed circle. A crucial factor is determining the external tensile ring forces because the internal compression forces are usually lower.
