SKYDECK formwork panels for free choice of plywood
With SKYDECK PLY, plywood beams and plywood panels are placed on the SKYDECK longitudinal beams.
The plywood beams with their wide support fit safely into the plastic teeth rack of the main beam and are secured against slipping.
With this flexible system, the telescopic function allows filler areas to be closed. No additional components are necessary.
Advantages
Early striking
SKYDECK PLY is equipped with a drophead. Early striking is therefore possible already after the first day (depending on the slab thickness and concrete strength). This means that on-site material requirements can be reduced then main beams, plywood beams and plywood panels are quickly made available for the next cycle. Construction sequences can be broken up and inclement weather can be effectively bridged through early striking.
Effortless working
The SKYDECK PLY has low individual component weights. These lightweight as well as few different parts contribute greatly to the speed of the system. The main beam weighs 15 kg whilst the SBP plywood beam has a weight of only 9 kg.
Fewer slab props
SKYDECK PLY uses a prop-saving main beam. Only 0.29 props per m² of slab area are required. Fewer props mean time savings, more space for striking and moving formwork materials around
Free choice of plywood
SKYDECK PLY provides flexibility regarding the choice of plywood depending on requirements and customer's request.
